Continue your garden’s story.
Choose from 64 Australian native plants that suit your area, plan where they'll go, and find nurseries that have them in stock and deliver to you.
Or browse groundcovers, plants for shade, plants for birds or plants under a metre.
Choose
Search by size, sun, soil, frost and flowering time, or by what's indigenous to your area. Every plant page shows how big it gets, when it flowers and what it needs.
Plan
Gather plants into a list for each part of your garden, then lay them out to scale and see every storey of the bed, from groundcover to canopy, in flower month by month.
Find
See which nurseries list your plants, what they cost and who delivers to your state, for one plant or a whole list.

Why “Midstorey”?
A garden grows in layers, or storeys: groundcovers at your feet, the tree canopy overhead, and in between, the midstorey. It's the layer of shrubs and smaller plants where most garden favourites live and where small birds feed and shelter. It's also the layer most often missing from city gardens and parks.
We'd like to help put it back, one garden at a time.
