Lush, soft-leaved mat-rush for damp spots, with fragrant yellow flowers in spring.
Grows naturally along creeks and rivers, so it handles wet soil and occasional flooding better than most lomandras. Its broad, arching leaves are softer than spiny-headed mat-rush, and the yellow flower spikes are sweetly scented.
