Vigorous hybrid waratah with red flower heads, more forgiving of shade than the wild species.

A cross between the NSW waratah (Telopea speciosissima) and the Gippsland waratah (Telopea oreades). It is taller and more adaptable than the NSW waratah, tolerating part shade and a range of soils, with bright red flower heads in spring.
